Export product changes

Download the product changes of a task as an Excel file.

On the task details page, click the export icon in the header of the Product changes card.

• Small tasks: a file named ProductsExport.xlsx downloads immediately and the app shows Products exported.

• Large tasks (more than 1,000 rows): an Export products dialog asks for an email address (your store email is pre-filled). Click Export. The app prepares the file in the background and emails you a download link. The link opens the app, downloads a ZIP with the Excel files and returns you to the dashboard.

What the file contains

Task type	Columns
Variant fields (price, compare-at price, and others)	Product, Variant, Task status, Original price, Updated price, Original compare at price, Updated compare at price. Market tasks add the same four columns per market.
Product fields	Product, Task status, plus Original and Updated values for title, status or description depending on the field.
Tasks that add or remove tags	Original tags and Updated tags are added.

Task status is Update complete or Undo complete per row. The Product cell is a link to the product.

Export files and their download links are removed 3 days after they are created. If a link has expired, export again from the task page.

Failed products list

When a task or revert ends as Partially complete, the error banner offers Export list. It downloads FailedProducts_<task id>.csv with the product ID, title and reason for each product that could not be processed. See Task errors and warnings.
