# SA Request a Quote

SA Request a Quote lets shoppers ask for a price instead of buying instantly — so you can quote, negotiate and convert B2B and custom orders in Shopify.

Some products don't sell themselves at a fixed price. Bulk orders, custom work, freight-heavy goods and trade pricing all need a conversation first.

SA Request a Quote replaces "Add to cart" with "Add to quote" on the products you choose. Customers send you a request, you reply with your price, and when they accept you turn the quote into a real Shopify order.

## How a quote moves through your store

### A customer asks for a price

They click your quote button on a product or collection page, then fill in your quote form.

The quote appears in **Quote list** in the app, and you get an email notification.

You edit quantities, prices and notes on the quote, then email the quotation back to the customer.
